Batik Painting for Beginners
Create your own Batik masterpiece! During the workshop, you will learn how to trace the design on a cloth, frame your art piece and make a sample of your preferred colour scheme. Learn the art of batik painting and its waxing techniques with the Tjanting. Participants are encouraged to complete at least 3 artworks during the sessions as practice makes perfect!
Amita is very passionate about arts and crafts and she is always on lookout to learn and keep herself abreast with new art projects or courses. Graduated with a diploma in 3D Character Animation, she is also well-versed in paintings using different mediums such as acrylic and oil painting, colour pencil rendering, batik painting and more. Amita has been conducting art and craft workshops for different organisations for many years in both Singapore and India. During her free time, she teaches clay sculpting at Singapore Association of Mental Health and various crafts at Singapore Anglican Community Service

Fee payable : $82.00 per participant include A4 size wooden frame, tjanting tool, cloth, use of wax, colour dyes, and colour fixer paints

Container for water
Palette for paint colours
3 paintbrushes (size 2, size 4, size 6)
Class will start with minimum 8 participants
